The objectives of the Institute of Pharmacy Practices are;

• To make researches about the wide-ranged practices of the pharmacy profession,
• To provide education opportunities in Turkey and foreign countries,
• To aim for classification of variable practices of pharmacy through evaluating the samples in the world,
• To contribute public health and health policies in national and international level by supporting the coordination among those different practices of pharmacy.

The objectives of the Institute of Informatics for Pharmacy are;

• To utilize informatics technologies (IT) in order to develop the permanence of health care and patient-oriented health systems
• To work for tendering systems of IT to the use of health professionals, health managers and patients,
• To compare the applications of e-health and e-prescription in other countries through comparing the experiences in other countries and develop those applications by searching the ways that are best adaptable in Turkey.

The objectives of the Research Center for Pharmacoeconomy, Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacovigilance are,

• Regarding the significance of the drugs in public health; with an aim for providing the best results in drug researches;
• To work for preparing Good Manufacturing Guidance designed through the scientific rules,
• To work for reducing the ratio of cost of drugs to the public budget,
• Aiming to designate the adverse reaction of the drugs,
• To prepare some specific forms like notification forms for adverse reaction/event which will be distributed through pharmacies, with an aim to make those activities become a part of pharmaceutical care.

The objectives of the Institute for Drug Reimbursement are;

• To analyze and make researches on the changing conditions in the reimbursement systems in other countries and compare them with Turkey,
• To analyze the contracts that are made between the pharmacies and the reimbursement institutions in other countries,
• To work for providing a transparent reimbursement system through supervising, analyzing and ascertaining the drugs.
