THE ACTIVITIES OF TPA FOR PROMOTION THE ROLE AND VALUE OF PHARMACISTS IN HEALTH CARE PROVISION AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE COUNTRY AS A WHOLE |

Within the context of a EU project, Project for the Improvement of Maternal Health through Advocacy, Training, And Accessible Services, the educated pharmacists went to the villages of SouthEastern part of Turkey (Diyarbakır and Batman) in order to train the married women (down-side), distribute condoms (left-side) and trace the women through pregnancy era. |

Within the context of another EU project, Project for Strengthening Reproductive Health Services through a Social Marketing Approach by Pharmacists, advertisement posters for the cheap condom SIRDAŞTM , that was produced by TPA was attached to the window display of the pharmacies and orientation posters for the educated pharmacists, called as SIRDAŞ PHARMACISTS. Those pharmacists were educated by TPA about Reproductive Health for 4 days in the headquarter of TPA. In the above poster, it was written that SIRDAŞTM is sold here and other SIRDAŞ Pharmacies and it was written in the poster right-side that your pharmacists are your close consultant for reproductive health affairs is right here. SIRDAŞ in Turkish is a word referring to the friend whom one can totally believe and share his/her most significant secret. Thus, the aim is to demonstrate the capacity and the value of pharmacists in health care services. |

Within the context of another EU Project, Clever Child Use Rational Drug, a theatrical performance is done in a province of Turkey, Eskişehir for the students of primary and secondary schools. And also 5000 brochure explain rational drug use to the children was distributed to the General Directorates of National Education in Turkey. In the leaflet, it is written that “I am Clever, so I am Using Rational Drug”
This Mobile Pharmacy was prepared by TPA for Emergency Health conditions with a collaboration of International Shipping Association.
TPA established a bio-analytic laboratory, Novagenix, for the researches of bioequivalence and bioavailability of the pharmaceuticals in Turkey.

TPA also established a fully-devised health center (left-side) for addiction cure of children living in streets in Diyarbakır, southeastern provinces of Turkey. |
