The Details About The Project

The Overall Objectives:

The overall objective of the Project is to improve the consumer’s health, material and social conditions by increasing their health and security as stated in EU Consumer Policies.

The Specific Objectives:

The specific objectives of the project are; establishing a participative information process for enhancing sentient drug consumption by developing alternative instructive methods. preparing rational drug use guide supported by apprehensible caricatures which make the learning process be entertaining and distribute those guides to selected primary schools; raising awareness about rational drug use at least 3000 primary school students by a theatrical performance with a subject on rational and conscious drug use, in at least 20 performance.

Target Groups:

Target groups of the project are the students of 4., 5. and 6. classes of primary schools in Ankara, Çorum, Kırıkkale, Kırşehir, Yozgat, and Eskişehir.

The Main Activities

a) Preparing a child play named “Clever Child Uses Rational Drug” and providing the exhibition of this theatrical performance
b) Preparing, printing and distribution of a guide named “Clever Child Uses Rational Drug”.

The Methodology of the Project:

The methodology of the project is; considering the needs and specialties of the children; performing child play and publishing a comic book. Raising awareness of the children between 9-12 ages in selected cities of Turkey on the rational drug use by specific training techniques is the overall methodology of the Project.

Objectives of the action

Overall objective(s): The aim of the project is to make use of the experiences of the European countries and some international institutions selected in the fields of e-health applications, medicine and pharmacy; to share the work experiences on subjects such as; cooperation between the sectors and the participation of the public, to provide the policy makers, administrators and the to the service providers who are concerned with the medicine and pharmacy fields of e-health applications the possibility to obtain the information from the experiences of the European institutions and other professionalized institutions; to constitute the possibilities to establish information exchange and cooperation, to improve the motivation and capacity development skills of the service providers working on the field, and to establish a common facility plan at process of adopting the EU Acquis Communitaire,

Specific objective: Improving the dialogue between the institutions striving for the same purpose, improving the information exchange and cooperation possibilities in the future on the subjects of e-health and other common topics, strengthening the motivation and the capacity improvement of all the service providers working on that field, provide the service providers who are concerned with the medicine and pharmacy fields of e-health applications the possibility to obtain the information from the experiences of the European institutions and other professionalized institutions, publishing a report and a book for the service of the people who are working on that field, benefiting from the international experiences for the systems to be established in Turkey

Target group(s): 26.000 community pharmacist, all the service providers working within medicine and pharmaceutics field, policy-makers, managers

Final beneficiaries: All the service providers working at the health sector and the beneficiaries of the sector

Estimated results:
E-health infrastructure shall have been consider the needs of the pharmacists
Dialogue among institutions serving the same purpose shall have been increased,
Means for exchange of knowledge and cooperation on e-health and other common issues shall have been developed,
International experiences shall throw a light on future systems to be developed in our country,
The report and the book to be published shall be a source for individuals carrying out researches in this field.

Main activities:
To form an international network including experts on e-health from National Pharmaceutical Unions of Various EU member countries, to share experiences of the EU member countries via International Symposiums, to form cooperation and network, to share acquisitions with relevant institutions via press conference, translation and publication of a book to be used as reference in future, advocacy studies dedicated to policy-makers, to perform action visits to relevant countries
